Biography
Prof. Dr. Lina Warrad is a full-time Professor in the Department of Accounting at Applied Science Private University. She earned her Bachelor?s degree in Accounting from Applied Science Private University in 2001. She has professional experience in a number of administrative and financial positions, progressing from Chief Accountant to Deputy Internal Audit Manager and, finally, Financial Manager. In 2018, she obtained a Master?s degree in Management Information Systems from the New York Institute of Technology, followed by a PhD in Accounting from the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences in 2010. She has published more than 48 research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and has supervised, examined and evaluated more than 120 master?s theses. She served as Head of the Accounting Department at Applied Science Private University from 2013 to 2015, and again from 2024 to 2026. She currently holds the position of Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Business for Academic Affairs.
